Graham Norton to present RTS awards
Channel 4 presenter Graham Norton has been named as the host of this year's Royal Television Society's (RTS) Programme Awards in March.
The star-studded event, which takes place at Grosvenor House, London, on Tuesday March 19 marks the best in television programming over the preceding 12 months.
This year 25 awards will be made in a variety of categories, which have been expanded on from previous years to include soap, best programme in history or science and natural history genres.
Past award-winners include Rory Bremner, Cilla Black, David Jason, 'Cold Feet' and 'SM:tv Live'.
Graham Norton is no stranger to accolades and award ceremonies himself, having picked up the RTS Best Presenter 2000, Variety Club Personality of the Year 2000, Best Entertainment Performance BAFTA 2000 and Rear of the Year Awards 2000.
Tickets for the black tie award ceremony and dinner are available from the events department of the Royal Television Society on 020 7691 2471.
Tickets cost £198 plus VAT.
