Momentum Builds For Media Production Show 2016
The Media Production Show will take place from 9–10 June 2016, at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London, and provide visitors with an innovative and productive overview of the year.
Since the launch event five months ago, more than 45% of exhibitor space has sold, while plans for the event's seminars and content are underway. The show is being delivered by the Broadcast, Screen International and shots, MBI also recently acquired The Knowledge and KFTV (Kemps).
Meanwhile, those who have already committed to the event include Blackmagic Design, Panasonic, JVC, Pinewood Studios, and euNetworks.
Hannah Fox, Senior Director, Marketing, at euNetworks, said: "Our presence at The Media Production Show provides a valuable platform to share both our network developments and learn more on challenges facing companies for the year ahead. The timing of this new event, between NAB and IBC, works well as we continue to promote our high bandwidth and cloud connectivity solution."
Liz Cox, Marketing Manager, JVC, added: "With our product launches often taking place at NAB rather than in Europe, the Media Production Show offers us the first chance to talk with UK customers about our newly-launched products, allowing people to get hands-on with our latest creative tools."
Simon Westland, Blackmagic's Director of Sales for EMEA, commented: "We have worked with MBI on previous events, such as the Production & Post Forum, so we know there will be a high-quality seminar programme. But what is also exciting is that our philosophies are aligned: the show will be about creativity and content production, and in essence that is what Blackmagic is about. We are focused on creative production and removing barriers to creativity by providing affordable and readily available solutions."
Nigel Wilkes, Panasonic Professional Systems UK, said: "The Media Production Show represents the changing landscape of production in the UK as content creativity across traditional TV, film and commercials merge in terms of technology and expertise. The addition of live events, AV and corporate production will ensure that the show has something for everyone and Panasonic are pleased to support it from the outset."
Conor Dignam, CEO of Media Business Insight – the owners and organisers of The Media Production Show 2016, added: "MBI is in a unique position to deliver the MPS as a show that will cover the creative sectors of TV, film and commercial production. This will be the biggest single creative media event taking place in London next year, and we've already had great support from the industry. We're really excited about the event, including the seminar sessions, and featuring The Broadcast TECH Young Talent Awards too. We looking forward to delivering another insightful event with brilliant content, engaging exhibitors and thousands of high quality delegates."
