Griplet purchase Galaxy Crane

Griplet, who supply grips, crane operators and equipment to the industry, has recently invested in the new Galaxy Crane.
Griplet executive, Davina Young, said: “Being state of the art, the equipment offers production teams far greater scope for high shots and creativity. The crane has a maximum reach of 57’ and maximum height of 49’. Despite its size, from a grip’s point of view, it is surprisingly easy to build and operate.”
The modular principle of construction covers the outriggers, bracing kit, and balancing rods, turning the build into an easy exercise – all of the latter connect quickly, without the need for tools, and are held safely in place by locking pins.
Panther, who manufacture the Galaxy, have always insisted on safety and stability. These, together with the easy, comfortable handling for the operators, were the prime objectives in behind the development of the Galaxy. There is a choice between the riding mode, up to a height of 34’, or the remote mode at 49’ as previously noted.
