COMSYST appointed as Australian distributor for Link Research

Link Research have appointed the well-regarded broadcast systems integrator COMSYST to supply their products in Australia.
Among Link’s products are the award-winning LinkXP wireless camera systems that provide portable, robust and cost-effective solutions for field broadcasters in ENG and SNG applications. LinkXP is a digital microwave system with leading edge COFDM technology. It can be set to provide QPSK, 16QAM, and 8PSK modulation for satellite newsgathering.
Link Research will be launching its second wireless camera system, the LinkXP2 at NAB in April (Booth no C390). It takes the form of a complete camera-back, with a common (Sony-compatible) camera interface and includes remote camera control.
LinkXP is the first wireless camera system to deliver professional quality 4:2:2 TV footage and to have such low power consumption, under 20 watts.
It also has the shortest end-to-end signal delay, 40ms, which means that it can be synchronised with feeds from conventional cabled cameras.
