Snowdrum Audio Visual Chooses Marquis X2Pro

Marquis Broadcast has announced Snowdrum Audio Visual based in Tel Aviv, Israel, has selected X2Pro for its latest project, Cutting Edge MD, for working with an external sound studio.

X2Pro, is Marquis' conversion application for delivering Final Cut Pro X projects to Avid Pro Tools for audio finishing. The solution uses Marquis' Media Highway, the core technology employed by Marquis’ media integration products to integrate Final Cut Pro X into professional audio workflows, delivering seamless integration between the two applications.
"Cutting Edge MD is a new type of sport documentary TV show, telling the stories of famous athletes, their injuries and their recovery, aired on FOX Sports," explained Snow R. Shai, director at Snowdrum Audio Visual. "On the project we used X2Pro to export AAF files to an external sound studio from our Final Cut Pro X editing suite. It creates to option to export our sound work to an external professional sound mixing & sound design studio making it straightforward to move files to where we needed them for editing. It simply takes a few easy clicks once your editorial is finished.
"We heard X2Pro was good and the Marquis team seemed dedicated to their work,” continues Shai “X2Pro was the one and only solution for this type of work after Final Cut Pro X was released and now it is crucial to our workflow.
