Artesia's contract boost before NAB conference

Showcasing at NAB booth S6241, are Artesia Technologies, a market leader in enterprise digital asset management who have just revealed that they have expanded their European interests following the award of several important contracts.
BBC Technology, the UK’s Channel Four Television, Discovery Networks Europe and Turner Broadcasting’s European operations are all implementing Artesia’s award-winning TEAMS digital asset management solution. With these recent successes, Artesia now counts many of the world’s largest media and entertainment companies as clients, including six of the top seven by revenue.
“In many ways, the European market has demonstrated more forward-thinking regarding the opportunities available in the next-generation of television. As a result, we see this as significant affirmation for Artesia that so many highly respected companies - BBC Technologies, Channel Four Television, Discovery Networks Europe and Turner Broadcasting - have selected our technology as their platform for this new era,” said Chris Veator, chairman and CEO of Artesia Technologies.
“In less than three years of operations, Artesia has without question established itself as the leader in digital asset management. To have grown so quickly during a challenging economic period speaks highly of our best-of-breed software, unmatched domain expertise and most importantly, our ability to deliver results that enhance our clients’ businesses.”
Artesia Technologies is the market leader in enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM). Artesia’s core product - TEAMS - enables organisations to capture, manage and dynamically re-express valuable rich-media assets. That is, video, audio, images, graphics and text, and leverage them to exploit new business opportunities.
In addition, TEAMS’ open API and support for industry standards such as Java, CORBA, SCORM and XML enable the creation of enterprise-scale solutions.
