Avid announces £450,000 installation at Grampian TV

Avid Technology have announced the sale and live implementation of a £450,000 end-to-end digital newsroom solution for Grampian TV in Aberdeen, Scotland.
The system has been used for trial bulletins for several days and goes on air with Grampian’s 6.00pm 'North Tonight' news programme.

Grampian TV have been a long term user of the Avid iNews newsroom computer system and have now added an Avid Unity for News shared media network, Avid AirSPACE ingest and playout servers with ingest and playout automation, Avid NewsCutter and Avid Media Composer craft editors and Digidesign Pro Tools audio workstations to provide a complete ingest to playout news solution.
