CBM set to bring top sport to Freeview

CBM Media are set to launch a new television channel on Freeview this summer, having been granted the last remaining channel on Crown Castle’s Freeview multiplex.
One focus of the station is to be a home for British sport, especially those secondary sports that at present have great difficulty securing television exposure. There are many sports in which Britain leads the world but whose competitors remain anonymous to the public that they represent. The station will provide an unrivalled opportunity for such sports to get the quality and quantity of airtime they require.
The station will also broadcast finance, business news and movies. This will provide a major opportunity to showcase the work of independent production companies in the UK.
CBM are very excited about bringing world class British sporting performances to air and being involved in this latest channel on Britain’s fastest growing digital television service, Freeview. CBM will broadcast 24/7 in the general entertainment line up on channel 22.
CBM is contracted with Bloomberg, for whom the new station will provide an opportunity to gain exposure on Freeview and be part of the growing shift towards digital television in Britain.
