Drake unveils intercom solutions at the Production Show

For over 25 years Drake Electronics Ltd have been a European market leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance intercom solutions for the broadcast industry.
With over 2,000 systems in more than 50 countries worldwide, Drake provide flexible solutions to meet any communications requirement.
EASi-COM II is the comprehensive entry-level intercom/talkback system, with none of the traditional audio quality problems associated with party-line systems as EASi-COM II is based on four-wire technology.
The system also includes all external interfaces built into the matrix, allowing user panels, two or four-wire cameras, radio talkback, telephones or numerous other options to be connected quickly and easily.
Also available is the 4000 Series II, which is available in three frame sizes. PiCo is a Digital 1RU 19" rack-mounted matrix with up to 36 ports, including an optional four-channel universal audio interface that automatically detects and allows beltpacks from other intercom manufacturers to be used with the system. PiCo’s compact size allows for easy installation in any location, whilst the front-facing RS232 port and integral LCD user interface, provide quick and easy system configuration and set-up.
The stylish new Refresh Range feature high-contrast VFD displays, eight character mnemonics and QuickFix labels, whilst the LCD Keypanel range feature 10 characters per key and support non-English character sets and Supervisor capability.
The unique MCR Software Suite allows audio routes and conferences to be assigned quickly and easily using a single touchscreen user position.
Drake have proven intercom networking capabilities using their new Hi-Que and VeNiX interfaces and this summer will launch FreeSpeak - a licence-free, fully integrated digital wireless intercom system.
