Network Electronics' prospers in Asian countries

Network Electronics' innovative product lines, VikinX compact routers and flashlink fibre optic transport systems have scored high marks in the Asian marketplace.
Network Electronics ASA also manufactures ConQuer signal processing products, serves the global Broadcast, Telco and Multimedia industries with locations in 15 countries and headquarters in Sandefjord, Norway, and has been delivering HD products to major Japanese companies since the company launched HD products some years ago.
According to Mr. Masato, CEO of Network Electronics Japan, The Show Company, who recently placed a large order for the popular VikinX HD routers, will use the HD routers and AES routers in conjunction with their Sony non-linear editing system.
Other high-profile customers of Network Electronics’ VikinX router include NHK, a major broadcaster that has already purchased over 20 router units, Digital On-Media, the biggest CATV multiple program provider in Korea, SBS MediaNet, a Seoul broadcasting system for aerial broadcasting, and Skycast, a Korean CATV transmission representative company.
According to Mr. Kwon Yull, CEO of Network Electronics Korea, the flexibility of VikinX routers combined with their expandability and appealing price point have strengthened the range's popularity with major broadcast customers.
Network Electronics' flashlink products have also received high grades in Asia.
Mr. James Wang, CEO of Network Electronics Taiwan announced that Eastern Television (ETTV), one of the largest Digital Head-End TV Stations and Media Companies in Taiwan, has taken delivery of a substantial order of flashlink equipment.
In China, the government's increased efforts to expand development of the country's northwestern regions have resulted in numerous deliveries of flashlink to growing television stations, such as Chonggin TV, Sichuan TV, and Guiyang TV.
