PlayBox Technology Introduce ProductionAirBox

PlayBox Technology has announced an addition to its portfolio of broadcast and production workflow solutions; the ProductionAirBox.
"ProductionAirBox is an extremely fast media manipulation and delivery system, providing the low latency demanded for the fast-paced work environment of broadcast news, sports, and live production," said Stanislav Petkov, Chief Technology Officer, PlayBox Technology.
"ProductionAirBox complements the PlayBox Technology NewsRoomBox newsroom production system with practically instant switchover from one clip to another. A wide range of file formats and resolutions can be inserted into the playlist with up to 16 digital audio channels to accommodate multi-channel multi-language programmes. Four additional separate play channels are available, each with individual controls and playlist."
Based on multi-channel engine architecture, ProductionAirBox can deliver content rapidly from a playlist.
It can include clip or playlist timecode as ancillary data to the SDI output. A non-destructive clip trimmer is also available. Transport control allows the user to play, pause jump, next, cue, fast forward and rewind playlist items or the playlist.
In addition to its broadcast production applications, ProductionAirBox can be used wherever instant access to stored content is needed, including live shows, studio displays and presentation screens.
