Pathe International seal over seventy Cannes deals

Pathe International have announced more than 70 Cannes deals across their UK and French slates, with Gurinder Chadha's 'Pride & Prejudice: The Bollywood Musical', Danny Boyle's 'Million's and Patrick Alessandrin's 'Mean Spirit' (Mauvais Esprit) amongst the busiest titles.
Sandrew Metronome took Pride & Prejudice: The Bollywood Musical for Scandinavia, joining buyers such as Miramax, who added Australia and New Zealand to their pre-Cannes purchase of US and Latin American rights, and BIM for Italy.
Millions sold in ten territories, including Asmik Ace for Japan and Central Partnership for CIS.
On Pathe's French slate, Mean Spirit went to Central Partnership for CIS and the Baltic states and Keowon for Korea, plus eight other territories including Mexico and Turkey.
Immediately following Cannes, Pathe acquired the Claude Berri-produced 'San Antonio', which will star Gerard Depardieu and is due to start principal photography this month.
