Pathe agree finance deal with Ingenious

UK financiers Ingenious are reportedly to front 35% of the budget for a range of titles from Pathe UK, including the 'The Magic Roundabout'.
Ingenious have guaranteed a fund for three pictures, but Pathe UK expect the relationship to continue after these are complete.
With this agreement, Pathe have now outsourced enough funding to reduce their direct contribution to project budgets to an average of 27.5%.
The Magic Roundabout is currently one of the highest-profile UK productions. The £13m CGI animated feature has a gamut of star names associated, with Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue voicing Dougal and Florence respectively.
The 18-month production began last month in the UK and France, with Dave Borthwick of Bristol-based animation studio bolexbrothers directing.
The Ingenious-Pathe deal is also expected to include 'Girl With A Pearl Earring', another ambitious project.
