LEAF to recognise the industry's best work, people and companies

The London Effects and Animation Festival (LEAF) is calling all 3D artists and companies to submit entries for the prestigious 2003 LEAF Awards.
The LEAF Awards has a completely new structure this year, designed to recognise skills, techniques and technology applications, as well as individual achievements. A panel of industry experts will assess the entries for the best work, people and companies in the business. As well as celebrating the best digital creative work of the year, categories include the Nigel Broomfield Award for the Best Newcomer, which is supported by The Hive, as well as one for the most positive contribution by an individual. LEAF is also recognising the efforts of UK studios abroad with an award for the company that has made the greatest international contribution to UK industry.
The results will be announced at the LEAF Awards Ceremony on Tuesday October 28 2003 and entry forms are available from Sophie Trainor, Festival Manager, on + 44 (0) 20 8987 0941.
The deadline for submissions is September 5 2003.
