Drpgroup Open Midlands Studio

The drpgroup has opened its new midlands studio complex.
A launch event last week was themed on the 1940s, complete with a spitfire outside replicating the original purpose of the building as a spitfire engine parts and storage production facility.
The firm spent spent £3.6m on kitting out the new building and restoring some of its original features.
Guests were given a tour of the four new edit suites as well as the new audio suite, which houses its own 30-seater in-house cinema.
Dale Parmenter, managing director of the drpgroup, opened the evening with a few words, while guests were given the opportunity to have an inside look into the making of 212, the company’s new home.
As part of the opening show, alarms were then activated and guests ushered outside by military officers. Once outside guests were treated to a finale show using projection mapping which depicted a journey from 1940 to the current day.
Mr Parmenter explained: "Delivering an event like this for our friends and clients is always a real pleasure. We get to push the boat out creatively and demonstrate what can be achieved by merging live events, video digital and design into one hugely engaging comms piece. The reaction has been fantastic, particular on social media and I would like to thank all our friends and guests for their kind words and tweets. We hope to welcome them all back to the facility many times in the future."
