Endemol Announces Gok Wan Show For MediaCity

UK fashionista Gok Wan will be broadcasting a new Channel 4 show, 'Gok Live: Stripping For Summer', live from MediaCityUK this summer.
The three, hour-long programmes will broadcast live from the Piazza at MediaCityUK and will see Mr Wan help women decide what to wear for the summer holiday season.
Endemol are working with MediaCityUK, who are overseeing the organisation of the live shows, while dock10 are managing the productions by using the site-wide connectivity and studio galleries which link directly to the piazza.

Jonathan Harley from dock10 said: "We’re delighted to welcome Endemol and Gok Wan to MediaCityUK - which was built with outside televised events in mind. They will benefit from dock10’s many fibre connection points around the Piazza and spread throughout MediaCityUK.
"It will enable them to get broadcast quality cameras cabled back to fully spec’d production control rooms, the big outdoor screen (controllable from the studios) and from our connection to the SIS satellite farm to get live pictures back to Channel 4 –all without the need for an outside broadcast truck."
Gok Live: Stripping for Summer was commissioned by Channel 4 Head of Features, Gill Wilson, and will be produced by Remarkable Television, an Endemol company.
The series will be executive produced by Kitty Walshe and series produced by Catherine Mann and be shown on Channel 4 this summer.
