Turner Broadcasting look to the future with Softimage|XSI
Turner Broadcasting have purchased licenses of the Softimage|XSI software, the industry's leading nonlinear 3-D production environment, and licenses of Softimage|XSI BatchUniversal, Softimage's processing and rendering solution.
Turner chose Softimage products as an integral component of its creative production facility, Turner Studios, to better meet the increasing demands of a wide variety of projects, which range from sports opens to short episodic series and animations for the Cartoon Network. Turner found that the seamless integration of the mental ray renderer, combined with the flexibility of the animation mixer and the integrated compositor of the Softimage|XSI system, will help reduce the production team's project turnaround time and increase productivity and creativity.
