Tedial Announces Oman TV Project For CABSAT

Tedial has announced its recent installation and commissioning of a new production infrastructure for Oman TV at CABSAT 2013.
The company will be highlighting a raft of new technologies during the show at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Together with Sony, Tedial has delivered to Oman TV a fully file-based solution that optimises workflow control and at the same time links two locations in Muscat and Salalah, enabling enhanced cooperation between the two sites.
On stand C6-40, Tedial will be showcasing enhanced web-based technology for its MAM system, featuring a powerful web interface. Casual or expert operators can easily locate and initiate workflows in order to process content, for instance simple editing or transcoding.
Tarsys supports multiple data models and is designed to work in many languages and character sets.
Tedial is one of the first companies to market a powerful workflow manager in Ficus. Ficus has evolved to include Business Process Management capabilities and now has an interactive workflow builder, which will be demonstrated on the stand that enables new workflows to be created and existing workflows to be modified using a unified web interface.
With the help of Tedial’s content exchange software Media Amigo, Tedial will highlight its cloud solutions. Following a recent project called NORDIF3, linking five independent Scandinavian broadcasters, Tedial has created what is effectively a private cloud, enabling the free exchange of programmes between them for subsequent transmission.
