DOCdata UK expand Telford facility

DOCdata, a leading European manufacturer of CDs and DVDs, have recently extended their Telford facility and installed the first of four state-of-the-art DVD production lines.
Managing Director Steve Toms, who took control of the UK manufacturing site just over a year ago, stated that he felt "the timing was right for DOCdata to establish ourselves in the UK DVD market.”
Toms went on to say that: “while only one DVD line has been committed at this time, the support facilities have been built to accommodate a further three lines as and when demand dictates. These three lines would simply need to be connected up, tested and then put into immediate production.”
DOCdata UK are now capable of producing DVD-5, DVD-9 and DVD-10 in house at Telford.
This UK investment, some £1.3 million, completes the company’s Europe-wide DVD manufacture and supply organisation, which includes plants in The Netherlands, France and Germany.
