September Films USA Appoints VP Development

September Films USA has appointed Corey Rogers as VP Development, based out of the company's LA office at Tribeca West.
Starting immediately, Corey Rogers will join forces with VP Development Lisa Mao to create new projects for the company reporting to September's President & Chairman David Green, who recently refocused his activities to concentrate exclusively on the company's accelerated push into the US market.
Rogers joins from US-based 44 Blue Productions where, as the Director of Development, he oversaw the development of non-fiction series including House of Consignment (VH-1) and Swanderosa (CMT), and contributed to the development of docu-series and formats sold to a wide range of American networks including OWN and Investigation Discovery, as well as projects for History, Animal Planet, TNT, Style and Fuel.
During his 3 years with 44 Blue Productions he also played a creative role in high profile projects executive produced by Mark Wahlberg, Rob Lowe, and Dick Wolf.
Rogers’ industry experience includes executive development and consultant roles at Go Go Luckey Entertainment, Machinima and Brand New Entertainment. Rogers started his television career in 2003 at A&E Networks where he worked for 3 years before joining United Talent Agency’s Agent training program.
David Green, President & Chairman, September Films USA, said: "The appointment of Corey marks the first step in our expansion programme Stateside. Corey will bring significant value to the creative team, working alongside Lisa Mao and myself on exciting new formats and reality series, and capitalizing on September Films' track record and reputation in the buoyant non-fiction TV market."
Corey Rogers, added: "September Films will continue to make noise in the reality space. I’m looking forward to building upon the foundation that David has spent years creating."
