September Films Wins New Doc Specials For A&E

Following on from its ongoing ratings success in the US, including most recently the performance of Sunday night’s one hour doc special
 Baby High on MTV, DCD Media-owned September Films has been commissioned to produce two further specials for US cable network A&E.
One hour documentary special Raising Bains follows a unique American family who have 13 children. Twelve of them are adopted and eight of the adopted kids have been taken in from the same family. As a result, many of the children have issues with attachment and adjusting to their new home.Through the course of the show, we'll find out how the Bain family copes with the kids' individual needs and past traumas. Handling the everyday drama of life as well as the additional issues of bringing up a blended family, Dave and Kathy are committed to making their unusual life work - and to creating a happy home for the entire family.
Directed by Eric Streit, it is set to premiere on A&E on 23rd August.
Billy the Exterminator: Billy Goes To The Gulf follows on Season 2 of the successful real life series Billy The Exterminator starring Billy and his brother Ricky as they travel to the Gulf Coast to find themselves head-to-head with the devastation caused by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. From oiled sea turtles to a rescued dolphin, an angry oiled raccoon and anguished pelicans, the Vexcon team witness the destruction caused to wildlife and the danger to all living creatures in the devastated area.
The programme was co-produced by Richard Hansil and Sheldon Lazarus and is due to premiere on A&E on 28th July.
