Avid UK return to Soho offices

Avid Technology Europe have announced that the majority of their Avid UK operation has moved from Pinewood Studios to new premises in Soho.
The move is designed to help Avid establish closer contact with its clients and improve its service offerings across the UK.
The new offices, based on Poland Street, are fully operational from May 27. The new facilities house approximately 20 personnel including sales and marketing staff, the UK technical support team and a number of product specialists.
Demonstration facilities cover the entire Avid product range from Avid Xpress DV to Avid|DS HD, plus a SOFTIMAGE|XSI suite. The UK Broadcast sales and sales support team will remain at Pinewood Studios.
Sean Bradley, UK and Ireland Country Manager, Avid Technology Europe Ltd, said: "Returning to the heart of Soho reflects Avid’s desire to further improve the service we offer to all our users nationwide. My aim is for the UK team to establish a closer relationship with our customers, to listen to feedback and provide support on existing products, and be a valued source of information on the future range of Avid’s products and services."
Avid’s products are used to make more television and news shows, commercials, music videos and CDs, corporate/industrial productions and major motion pictures combined than any other nonlinear editing manufacturer in the world. Avid have won several Emmy awards as well as an Oscar, and provide powerful servers, networks and media tools to help customers search files, share media and collaborate.
