Towergate offers insurance options to film and TV industry
Towergate Stafford Knight, part of the Towergate Underwriting Group, launched in January 1998, have developed a range of insurance products for markets in the film and television industry.
Towergate consists of a group of specialist underwriting agencies providing a range of insurance products for selected niche markets. The company specialise in the placement annual and short period insurance programmes for the music, film, television, broadcast, media, leisure and entertainment industries.
Lloyd's brokers since 1917, and based in the City of London, the company are able to provide insurance options from post-production requirements to kidnap, extortion and detention insurance.
Insurance coverage for post production is designed specifically for the audio and video industry as a whole and is also suitable for the needs of editing, digital imaging and computer graphics markets.
Towergate also provide coverage for rental companies serving the film, audio visual, broadcast and music industries.
Coverage includes all risks insurance to full theft and accidental damage for business equipment, cross hire and indemnity to hirers, loss of revenue followed insured damage, full terrorism coverage and employees and public liability insurance.
Film production insurance is available for commercial, corporate film and video, and independent television production companies based or operating anywhere in the world except Canada and the US.
