Complaints follow 'explicit' cinema ad

A controversial ad campaign has attracted complaints from cinema-goers across the UK.
The 60-second advertisement for sports/fashion retailer all:sports has been greeted with disdain in some quarters, as it depicts scenes of nudity and gay sex, a naked pensioner and bleeding internal organs.
Despite a BBFC classification of '15', audiences have complained that the ad is "inappropriate" and "promotes irresponsible behaviour" to young people, including drinking, smoking and promiscuity. Despite the strength of reaction, censors have refused to insist on the withdrawal of the ad, or even a re-edit.
"all:sports is a responsible company, it has never been our intention, with this or any other advert, to upset people," said all:sports’s Head of Communications Kirsten Turrie-Connor.
"We are simply showing a racy side of life which our customers identify with. We are amazed at the number of complaints - basically, some people have missed the point of the ad and obviously have too much time on their hands!"
On general distribution from 24th May, the brief for the ad, entitled "all:or nothing", was to raise brand awareness through high-impact, daring visuals and concepts intended to push the limits of even the younger generation's taste.
