Thomson Broadcast Solutions announce major UK order

Underlining the broad appeal of its newly acquired Grass Valley product line, Thomson Broadcast Solutions have announced a multi-million dollar (US) order from Corinthian Television Facilities - a leading UK post-production and studio facility.
Marc Valentin, Vice President of Thomson Broadcast Solutions, and Mike Silverman, newly appointed Chief Executive of Corinthian Television Facilities, signed the order at NAB 2002.
Thomson Broadcast Solutions deliver open, integrated digital products that work together along the entire digital video chain to support a variety of workflows, from content capture and acquisition through production, post production, and transmission.
Corinthian Television Facilities has built a new 85,000 square-foot building in west London to house the television facilities for the UK arm of a major United States digital media group.
The building will be equipped to provide production, graphics, post production, transmission, and live studio services for broadcast television clients. It will include eight PVS 1100 Profile XP Media Platform systems, which are specifically designed to meet demanding production requirements, a Grass Valley Zodiak vision mixer, several Grass Valley Concerto Series routing matrices, a Grass Valley Encore system, four Grass Valley M-2100 SD master control systems and a Grass Valley 7500 WB Wideband routing system and Grass Valley NetCentral software.
