ScheduaLL and Avid integrate
ScheduALL, the industry's standard for resource management, have announced the integration with Avid Unity MediaNet, the shared media network from Avid Technology Inc.
ScheduALL's newest version, available this summer, interfaces with Avid Unity MediaNet v3.0 to offer digital media professionals the ability to manage and bill for the use of Avid Unity storage.
"ScheduALL's new release represents a huge step in the evolution of Facility Management. For the first time, business software will begin to transparently understand the activities of the physical plant," said Rick Legow, President of ScheduALL.
"For ScheduALL to complete its mission as the business front end, we needed to hardwire our products into the creative side of the business. The perfect product for us to embark on this integration with is Avid Unity MediaNet."
Tim Claman, Director of Workgroups and Storage at Avid, said: "Integrating our products with the business tools our customers use is important, and we see a unique opportunity with ScheduALL. Our Avid Unity customers have asked for a way to automate tracking and billing of storage usage and, with ScheduALL, they now can fulfil that need."
Designed to manage workflow and facility usage, ScheduALL provides rapid tracking of events throughout the entire production process. ScheduALL also enables quick assessment of personnel and equipment scheduling, billing, categorisation of events by user-defined parameters and the projection of costs for assignments and time periods.
The software works hand in hand with the newest version of Avid Unity MediaNet, a shared media network designed for the digital content creation environment. Installed at more than 750 sites worldwide, Avid Unity MediaNet provides the a useful alternative in scalability, reliability, and true media sharing.
ScheduALL products are used by more than 1,000 broadcast and production worldwide to reduce costs and increase productivity. Complete workflow management enables clients to optimise scheduling, project management and resource management.
