ScheduALL Reports 30 Per Cent Revenue Growth For 2008

ScheduALL, a leading provider of enterprise resource management (ERM) software for the broadcast and media industry, has announced significant growth over the past year, with 2008 sales revenues rising more than 30 per cent, or three times that of the software industry's single digit growth.
The company also reported it grew domestic staff by roughly 20 per cent, added resources to its Los Angeles office, and bolstered its EMEA headcount by more than 35 per cent.
Joel Ledlow, CEO of ScheduALL, said: "ScheduALL software enables customers to maximise their use of resources and thus take on more projects more profitably. Our 2008 sales growth indicates how compelling this capability is within today's broadcast and production markets.
"We took time in 2008 to review our performance and future expectations with our customers, and address their complex business issues impacting both operations and finance. The feedback provided valuable insight into ways ScheduALL could serve as a better partner - from revamping our service offerings to developing powerful solutions that help new and existing customers improve their margins through better visibility of costs and productivity.
"We are delighted to learn that our client satisfaction surveys throughout 2008 reported 93 per cent of survey respondents would recommend our solutions and company."
ScheduALL's continued growth stems from expanded implementation of its technology in existing markets, a greater focus on sales of core solutions to new regions, and the strengthening of relationships with key partners, including the largest broadcasters, the top ten satellite and teleport companies, and many of the industry's foremost post-production and film labs.
Working with leading partners across the industry, ScheduALL used 2008 to listen and focus on expanding its service and technology to help refine scheduling capabilities, boost collaborative workflows across the corporate network, and maximise ROI for clients and their existing ScheduALL systems.
This approach allowed long time communities of ScheduALL users to gain added awareness and functionality on investments they may have made years before.
A sophisticated business management tool, ScheduALL software enables clients to manage aging, automate invoicing, and quickly review the margins on any given project (i.e. see where they are making money and where they are not). In return, this visibility improves decision-making with respect to ongoing partnerships and business relationships.
In addition, to providing users with intuitive access to real-time cost and scheduling data, the software supports more creative and cost-effective allocation of staff across projects. As a result of clients extending their ScheduALL software systems to leverage human resources more intelligently and profitably enterprise-wide, ScheduALL experienced a record-breaking December and strong entry into 2009.
Ledlow added: "Our executive advisory board of renowned industry leaders has helped us validate our direction for new solutions being delivered in 2009. Rather than do too much too fast, we have focused on addressing the specific operational and financial challenges facing our customers.
Thus, we have chosen to expand our 2008 objectives with an emphasis on product enhancements that support improved collaboration across client organisations, greater interoperability with other systems key to overall operations and workflow, more dynamic scheduling capabilities, and more ways to translate improved management into a stronger bottom line. We look forward to presenting these powerful tools at the 2009 NAB Show."
The company is also leveraging the software's open architecture via APIs to augment interoperability with both legacy and custom applications. Working with vendor technologies such as Media Hub from IBM and SMPTE's Broadcast eXchange Format (BXF), ScheduALL is enabling even greater communication and management between Ingest, DAM, and Air Management workflows.
