TC Electronic Adds Off-line Measuring To Its LM6 Radar Loudness Meter
Existing LM6 users can now upgrade to version 1.1 and get access to the AudioSuite off-line feature, which allows for measuring a full track at a speed faster than real time.
After the track has been measured, LM6 displays the full loudness history of the track, using the easy-to-read Radar Display™, and complete loudness statistics, including Program Loudness (LKFS/LUFS), Loudness Range and True-Peak Max, are available instantly.
There is even a text-based log file containing Loudness Range and Program Loudness data.
LM6 brings TC’s expertise in high-end broadcast hardware to everyone working with sound. It features the innovative Radar Display TM that has already changed the audio world for large broadcasting houses and top mix/mastering studios.
In other words, Loudness and True-Peak measurement can now be seen as well as heard by those who need it the most. LM6 conforms to all major broadcast standards such as ITU BS.1770-2, ATSC A/85, TR-B32 and EBU R128. It also comes with support for all major native plug-in standards, including AAX and RTAS (Pro Tools), VST, Audio Units and now — with version 1.1 — AudioSuite. The LM6 native plug-in is developed in cooperation with Brainworx.
Version 1.1 is a free upgrade for all existing users.
