Lovefilm Boss Quits
The boss of an internet movie rental firm has jumped ship to help out the struggling retailer, Mothercare.
Lovefilm Chief Executive, Simon Calver, has confirmed that he be leaving the helm of Amazon-owned company at the end of April.
Calver helped transform the business by embracing digital distribution via streamed content across platforms including online, connected TVs and games consoles.
Jim Buckle, Chief Operating Officer at Lovefilm, will become Managing Director, a newly created role, following Calver's exit.
