Sky Integrates Apps With Zeebox

Sky has announced a partnership, which it hopes, will see customers getting social as they watch TV using Sky mobile Apps.
Sky is set to be the only TV platform in the UK to offer Zeebox integration in its mobile apps. The new augmented features are due to be rolled out during the first half of 2012.
Zeebox is a social app that allows you to see what your friends are watching, find out more about TV shows while you watch, chat as you watch and even buy products that feature on shows and adverts.
Sky said that the Zeebox integration was naturally the next step for them with millions of their customers using smart phones and tablets.
Meanwhile Zeebox who have launched a web platform on iPhone, iPad, Android and online Zeebox said the much bigger user base provided by Sky would make the application truly useful.
