Sky Announces New Retail Partnership With Currys

News Image
Sky and electrical retailer Currys have announced a new retail partnership allowing customers to purchase Sky Glass in Currys stores nationwide, as well as online through Currys.co.uk, from today, 31st October.

To celebrate the partnership, customers buying in-store can enjoy an introductory offer of Sky Glass with Sky TV and Netflix in one simple subscription from just £33 a month, so TV fans can watch the UK’s highest-rated shows for less.

Sky Glass will be on display in over 200 Currys stores across the nation, giving consumers the opportunity to see and hear the benefits of Sky Glass with Currys tech experts before they buy.

Sophia Ahmad, Chief Consumer Officer, Sky said: "Sky Glass offers the ultimate TV viewing experience, customers who have it tell us they love it, so we always want to find ways for more people to see and try it. We’re excited to be partnering with Currys, the biggest tech retailer, to help bring Sky Glass to the front rooms of even more TV lovers nationwide."

Ed Connolly, Chief Commercial Officer for Currys plc, said: "Currys is the home of amazing technology, and we’re delighted to be ranging Sky Glass online and across our store portfolio. The customer demand for Sky Glass is clear, a unique all-in-one solution that brings together amazing content, sound and picture, and now our customers can see and experience Sky Glass at Currys for themselves."

Sky Glass is a UHD Quantum Dot TV with a Dolby Atmos soundbar and award-winning Sky built in, for the ultimate entertainment experience. It’s the smart TV that keeps getting smarter, with regular new features and updates delivered via the Entertainment OS operating system. Voice control makes it easy to search for what to watch and control the TV without the remote. Viewers can also create personal playlists of their favourite shows across apps, channels, the TV guide and on demand, so they’ll never miss the next episode.
