Paul Hagar Dies, Aged 83

A post-production executive who worked on titles such as The Godfather, Reds and Chinatown has died.
Paul Haggar, a postproduction legend who worked at Paramount Pictures for 54 years, died suddenly on Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles. He was 83.
He was a studio employee fοr more tһаח a half-century аחԁ һаѕ a building οח tһе lot named after him – the structure on the Paramount lot in Hollywood was renovated for editing and named the Haggar Building in his honor. He retired in 2005.
"Paul worked at Paramount for 54 years and loved every minute of it," said David McCann, a mentor at the AFI Conservatory and a close friend of Haggar.
"Paramount was his life. He truly was a one of a kind; there will never be anyone like him again."
