FX scores with chart acts

As celebrations for its 10th anniversary get underway, the FX Group is toasting a further achievement substantial involvement in supplying equipment and tape copying and transfer facilities to every UK record company with albums in the current Top 40 album chart.
A quick glance through June¹s Top 40 shows 14 UK acts in the charts, all of whom have rented studio and/or PA equipment from FX Rentals. These include artists such as Ronan Keating (Polydor), Enrique Iglesias (Interscope/Polydor), Kylie Mingoue (Parlophone), Moby (Mute), Blue (Innocent), Westlife (RCA) and Orbital (London). Many have also used the FX Group¹s copying and tape transfer facilities to assist with album production.
Some of the US-based artists in the chart, such as Pink, Mary J Blige, Anastasia and Celine Dion, have also turned to the FX Group for help while working in the UK.
Vanessa Woodason, A&R label manager for Polydor, says: "FX is always our first choice when we need to rent equipment for a recording project. We have used the company on a number of occasions over recent months, generally for sourcing specific items that producers and artists feel are important for their project, but also for tape copying and transfers."
