Rushes Soho Shorts Announces Official Selection

Rushes Soho Shorts Festival has announced the films selected for the 2011 competition.
The not-for-profit festival is renowned for promoting filmmakers to the commercial production industry providing unique business opportunities for both recent graduates and long-time professionals through the ten-day event.
Over 1200 entries from 53 countries were received. One hundred and forty-eight films produced across 27 countries have been selected to compete at this year's Rushes Soho Shorts Festival.
The RSSF 2011 Official Selection will be joined by Fujifilm Shorts, with awards being announced at a ceremony on Thursday, July 28 2011. The full programme will include over 50 events and 25 non-competitive programmes of work from around the world.
Full details of the programme will be announced on Monday June 20 2011 along with details on how to become a festival delegate.

Teaming up with CREATE11 Festival, Nokia, Fuji Film, Adobe and StarNow, along with some of London's top Short Film societies, to present a challenge open to all filmmakers: write, shoot and edit a three-minute film, based on the premise of a journey between specific start and end points around the edge of London.
