LM 26 Scoops Producción Professional Award

Around 500 pro-audio and broadcast professionals recently assembled at the IFEMA trade show in Madrid, Spain, for the 8th annual Producción Audio and Producción Professional awards ceremony.
These renowned awards, hosted by leading regional trade magazine publisher, Editorial Bolina, gave recognition to some of the most noted technological and personal endeavours to benefit the AV market in Spain over the past year.
Key representatives of the TV and Radio industries, technicians, manufacturers, importers and professionals working in the production and post-production studio sector were on hand to see 23 category winners rewarded, including the Lake LM 26 Digital Audio Loudspeaker Processor, winning the award for Best PA Product for Touring against some stiff opposition (from companies such as L’Acoustics and Meyer Sound).
On hand to graciously receive the award was Juan Fernández of Pro3 - Lab.gruppen & Lake's exclusive distributor in Spain – presented to him by Alfonso Gonzalez, President of Keido Music. This is the 3rd time in five years that a Lab.gruppen or Lake product has scooped the category award, with the PLM 10000Q having been honoured in 2008.
After collecting the award for the LM 26, Fernández commented: "We were delighted to hear that the new Lake LM 26 had been nominated for this year's award - especially after recent successes for our brands in previous years - but were absolutely overjoyed to discover it had been voted outright winner."
