Tony Dillon Appointed Director Of Business Affairs At Pact

Tony Dillon, Director of Legal and Business affairs at 2 entertain, the distribution company originally set up as a joint venture between BBC Worldwide and Woolworths group, has been appointed Director of Business affairs at Pact. He will replace Andrew Chowns who is leaving Pact to be Chief Executive Officer of Directors UK.
Tony has had more than 16 years experience in the production, commissioning and distribution of content, including several senior business affairs roles at BBC Worldwide and the BBC, such as Head of Legal Affairs for their Children’s and Learning Divisions, Head of Legal Affairs at their Channels division and Head of Commercial and Legal Affairs, Radio and Music. He was also Production Lawyer at Planet 24.
Chief Executive for Pact, John McVay said: "We are looking forward to working with such an experienced industry professional as Tony as we enter a busy period in the broadcasting industry."
Tony Dillon commented: "I started my in-house career at ground breaking Independent Producer, Planet 24, and am delighted to be joining Pact at time of such great opportunities for the sector."
Tony takes up his new role on 1st September 2010.
