Paul Newman Promoted At NBC Universal

Paul Newman has been promoted to Senior Vice President of International Technical Operations, NBC Universal, by Ian Trombley, Executive Vice President, to whom he reports. Mr. Newman is currently based in London.
"Paul's leadership, passion and intimate knowledge of the International landscape have been invaluable in supporting the aggressive growth plans of the Universal Networks International division," commented Ian Trombley. Mr. Newman will continue to support significant channel growth for Universal Networks International and other technical operations for NBCU Internationally.
Since joining NBCU in January of 2008, Mr. Newman's successes include building a high performing operational team, leading an innovative commercial initiative, supporting the launch of some 15 TV channels internationally and successfully delivering other strategic business initiatives.
Prior to joining NBCU he served for eight years as Vice President of Network Operations, Discovery Networks Europe.
