Raw Cut To Film With Greenpeace At Glastonbury
An independent production company will be producing a series of short films shot at the Greenpeace Field at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
Raw Cut is making at least six films, each lasting approximately one minute, highlighting the activity at the Greenpeace field with vox pops, interviews and cut-away material. This year, the Greenpeace Field has a rainforest theme and features a Cloud Forest Canopy with zip-line, a forest-friendly giant FSC skate ramp, the Earth Dome stage and the Grove relaxation area, where festival-goers can watch Greenpeace's forest news and film channel Ape TV.
The films will also feature other activity from Greenpeace at Glastonbury, such as the mass 'wedding' of more than 400 people and the festival favourite eco showers, which are powered by the sun and eco fuels. The films will run on the Greenpeace website. A 3' edit will also be shown on the Pyramid stage screen on Sunday, with the potential for more films on the screen to follow.
Bill Rudgard, Managing Director at Raw Cut, said: "As a regular content producer for Greenpeace over the last few years, I'm excited to be filming their activity at Glastonbury. The Greenpeace Field promises to be a highlight of the festival and the films are the perfect way to commemorate Greenpeace's fun and unique method of sharing its important message with the public. We hope to work with them again in the future."
The films will be directed by Bill Rudgard, with Hugo Ward on camera and Dan Wilkes handling the on-site editing for Raw Cut.
