BBC Northern Ireland appoints Secretary

BBC Northern Ireland has appointed Mark Adair as Secretary.
Adair is currently Chief Executive Officer for Community Relations Council and is a former member of the BBC's Broadcasting Council for Northern Ireland. He has also been a member of the Radio Authority and in the 80s worked as a contributor for BBC Northern Ireland's youth and lifestyle programmes.
In his new post, Adair will be leading the accountability process for BBC Northern Ireland and will be advising the National Governor, Broadcasting Council for Northern Ireland and BBC Northern Ireland's senior management board.
Anna Carragher, Controller of BBC Northern Ireland, said: "Mark has been associated with BBC Northern Ireland for many years both appearing on programmes and as a valued member of the Broadcasting Council for Northern Ireland.
"He brings much knowledge and experience of both Northern Ireland and broadcasting to his new role and we are delighted he is joining us in the post as Secretary".
