Orad secure VOA contract for virtual studio

Orad's position as a market leader in the TV industry has been strengthened with the addition of a significant new US government customer - Voice of America (VOA), Washington DC.
Orad's virtual studio fits Voice of America’s mission to provide US information and content to countries worldwide, by providing the ability to produce the same shows in multiple formats. This consists of primarily changing the language and colour, according to the country and appropriate demographics.
Orad say virtual studio was chosen because of its powerful, real-time video graphics rendering, Steadycam tracking abilities, user friendly control and operation and guaranteed upgrade path to HD.
Much of this success is due to the development of Orad’s custom hardware platform, the DVG. The DVG is the most powerful real-time video graphics rendering PC based platform, supports all available HD formats, and offers the best price/performance ratio in today’s market.
Orad is dedicated to support broadcasters in today’s changing world, and will present a new line of products during IBC 2002 in Amsterdam, Holland.
