Bluebell Provides Fibre Solutions To Gearhouse Broadcast

A large number of Shack fibre optic links has been supplied to international broadcast solutions company, Gearhouse Broadcast.
The units, delivered by Bluebell, have recently been deployed in high profile events including the UEFA Champions League Final and the US series of the ever popular I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!
Gearhouse Broadcast provided the US series of I'm a Celebrity with broadcast and technical facilities to deliver extensive coverage of all the jungle action. Numerous technical facilities were used for the show which included flyaway facilities of two production galleries, two Audio galleries, CCU VT and Master Control Room areas.
The SHACK is also perfect for stadiums, arenas and concert halls that have pre-installed fibre networks.
Operators arriving at the venue can simply plug into the network for direct access to the truck or other remote facilities. The mating with the duplex singlemode fibre is done via standard SC/PC connectors.
Both ends of this system are enclosed in a compact, lightweight, ruggedised aluminium connector, ideally suited to outside broadcast and flyaway applications where the camera can be powered locally.
