AutoCam Predator chases down high speed action

The AutoCam range of robotic camera controls already dominate the market throughout the USA, and with the addition of the high speed Predator the range is set to create the standard for robotic image capture worldwide.
Claimed to be the fastest precision head on the market – the Predator robotic camera head is truly exceptional. This remotely controlled pan and tilt head provides rapid response and on air quality pan and tilt movement for a variety of applications.
Field trials at NASCAR and NHRA (hot rod racing) events in the USA have been very encouraging, so much so that Predator looks set to be an extremely popular product for high speed, broadcast quality image capture, perfect for these types of event.
The lightning fast, high performance Predator has a maximum Velocity of 540°/second, and acceleration of 2400°/second, allowing the unit to pan a 75 lb (34kg) camera payload through 360° in 0.9 seconds. This enables the Predator to be used at virtually any high-speed event with total confidence for precise image capture.
Predator can be placed right in the heart of the action whilst the operator can be situated at a distance of up to 15,200ft (5,000m) away from inherent dangers.
Predator is distributed in the UK by Vinten.
