Zandar Predator II Series MultiViewer Wins IRDG Award

Zandar Technologies, a leading innovator and pioneer in MultiViewer systems have received the prestigious Irish Industry Research & Development Group (IRDG) R&D Project Award 2007 for their newly announced Predator II MultiViewer.
The IRDG is an Irish lobby group for research, development and innovation companies based in Dublin. The award was presented to Deirdre Smith, CEO at Zandar Technologies at a ceremony held at the Heritage Golf & Spa Resort in Killenard, Co Laois, on Thursday, 20 September 2007.
Zandar's Predator II MultiViewer was given the Award as a recognition of the level of technical innovation demonstrated by the company when designing the product. The Award also recognises the productivity and performance
improvements it will bring customers on a commercial level through its enhanced monitoring functions.
"We are delighted that all the research and hard work that our technical team have put into developing the new Predator II MultiViewer has been formally recognised in our home country," said Deirdre Smith, CEO of Zandar Technologies, who proudly accepted the Award on behalf of the whole company.
The Predator II MultiViewer is the next generation of Zandar's Predator MultiViewer lines. It allows multi-source display management, displaying multiple images with pristine image quality. The Predator II is specifically designed for use in master control scenarios, where the key is being able to monitor a large number of sources while relying on advanced alarm-based functionality.
Available in configurations of up to 32 inputs, the Predator II MultiViewer auto-senses any HD-SDI, SDI and composite video PAL or NSTC inputs via BNC.
The Predator II auto-formats to correctly display 4:3 or 16:9 sources, and seamlessly integrates with third party equipment and controllers and also comes with advanced reporting, alarm and UMD, tally and time display functions.
