Andy Wild Joins Altered Images

A leading reseller of technology for the television production and communications industries, Altered Images, has announced the appointment of Andy Wild as Pre-Sales Consultant/Senior Support Engineer.
A well respected industry figures, Andy's appointment further highlights Altered Images' strong commitment to the production community. He is based in the company's Manchester office and is a ket player in a number of new large contract wins, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
Andy has held several high level positions with companies including Granada Television, Avid and Tyrell (the original). His appointment further enhances Altered Images technical skill set and ability to design and configure broadcast network solutions. Andy's complete understanding of the issues involved in designing and installing technologies and overall workflows will allow Altered Images to continue building on the success it had achieved over the last ten years.

The company has also expanded its London team and has announced the appointment of Russell Butcher as Southern Regional Sales Manager.
Russell began his media career in Soho at Teletape Video (a division of Granada Group PLC) in 1984.
This was the starting point of his strong relationship with local facilities and the International market. Over the next 16 years his experience broadened to specifying and organising installations of equipment sold to studios and multimedia facilities.
In 2000, he joined OmniBus as UK Sales Manager and progressed over a seven year period to European Sales Manager providing solutions in news and transmission to a number of clients including: Arqiva, APTN, BBC, British Eurosport, Discovery Europe, MTV, Premium TV and Scottish Television in the UK, Slovak TV News and TX, Bratislava, Star TV TX Athens, VTM 3 channels of TX Brussels, TV7 Bulgaria, TG4 Ireland to name but a few.
In 2007, Russell joined Omneon as Regional Sales Manager, Eastern Europe selling media servers to clients including: Antenna Romania, BNT Bulgaria, HRT Croatia, Nova TV Bulgaria, RTL Televizjia Croatia, B92 Belgrade, TVNS Serbia, TVIN Montenegro, TVT89 Romania, TV Zona and OIV Croatia.
