Sonifex Receive Radio World Cool Stuff Award

Sonifex were given a Radio World Cool Stuff Award at the 2009 NAB Show in Las Vegas for the Sonifex SignalLED Studio Illuminated Signs.
Radio World's Cool Stuff Award-winning products, announced by US Editor-in-Chief Paul J. McLane, are selected each year by a panel of radio broadcast engineers as notable for their design, features, cost efficiency and performance in serving radio broadcast users.
These award-winning elegant RGB signs contain the control electronics themselves so that they can be simple configured for colour and operation on site. There is a wide range of different lettering available and eight colours to choose from: white, green, red, blue, yellow, orange, cyan and magenta.
Each has four modes of illumination: Constant; Flashing, regular on/off; Pulsing - flashing, then off repeated; and Off; and comes with a 6V DC power supply with international mains fitments and a 5m cable.
Flush mounting is standard but an optional kit can be used to end-mount them to the wall. There is also a double-sided end-mounted version which can be used in corridors so that different wording is displayed on each side of the sign or the same wording in a different orientation on each side.
Choose from 40cm or 20cm long. The 40cm signs can be split into two 20cm sides which can be separately, or jointly controlled, e.g. a 40cm 'ON AIR' sign, or twin 2 x 20cm signs, such as 'ON AIR' and 'MIC LIVE'.
Although a range of standard signs is supported, custom signs, for example with your company name, company logo, or studio name, can be produced for a nominal setup fee.
