Tyrell CCT Expands With Opening Of New UK Office

A leading creative technology solutions provider for the broadcast, post production, education and corporate sectors, Tyrell CCT, has announced the expansion of its business with the opening of a London office.
Tyrell CCT UK will be headed up by two former Altered Images Directors, Mark Lynn and Nick Soper, who will run the company's sales and technical divisions from Soho's Poland Street.
Responding to the growing demand for value added creative technology solutions in the UK, this new venture will bring the highly respected Tyrell brand back to the UK and re-unite former employees Mark Lynn and Tyrell CCT's Directors Bryan Malone and Stuart Lawn.
Tyrell CCT UK will provide complete video, audio, storage and streaming solutions from key industry brands including Avid, Apple, Adobe, Isilon, ViewCast, Facilis and HP. The company will also offer a comprehensive range of end-to-end professional services, from consultancy, system design and integration to technical support and maintenance.

Avid Technology has appointed Tyrell CCT as one of its UK resellers and Simon Brett, UK & Ireland Sales Manager, Avid, said: "Having worked with Bryan and his team over the years both inside and outside of Avid, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Tyrell CCT's UK subsidiary to sell and support Avid's products in the UK.

Well-known in the broadcast and post production industries, Mark Lynn and Nick Soper will co-head Tyrell CCT's UK division.
In his new role as Sales Director, Mark has responsibility for sales and account management throughout the UK.
Prior to joining Tyrell CCT, Mark served as Sales Director at Altered Images, where he managed the organisation's overall sales operations. Previously, Mark spent over five years at Tyrell Corporation in the UK as a Key Account Manager for the post production sector, specialising in solutions from Avid and Apple.
Nick Soper joins Tyrell with over 15 years of broadcast industry experience and a successful track record in presales and technical business consultancy. Nick's role at Tyrell CCT UK will involve engaging with clients to identify detailed system and workflow requirements and helping them to develop optimum technology solutions.
Prior to joining Tyrell, Nick was Technical Director at Altered Images, where he managed and developed the company's technology strategy for both the product portfolio and IT services.
He previously worked with Avid Technology for eight years, initially as a Technical Support Engineer and more recently as a Presales Consultant for UK & EMEA, specialising in the broadcast and post production sectors.
