Signiant At NAB 2009

The latest version of Signiant's Content Distribution Management (CDM) software will be showcased at Stand SL4508 at NAB 2009, held at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, April 18 - 23 2009.

• The National Football League reduces post-production time and costs while increasing productivity levels by quickly and securely transferring game footage to where it is required to go, freeing up employees to do other crucial tasks, which helps the NFL run more efficiently.
• Discovery Communications saw the time for a file transfer over 1Gb/s link decrease nearly 800 per cent. This benefit allowed Discovery to implement a more organised and secure approach to sharing digital content around the world.
• Swedish Broadcast Services (SBS) uses Signiant as the backbone of its digital distribution strategy and as result saved more than $150,000 a year.

Customer case studies shown at the stand will demonstrate further benefits, including how Signiant can be integrated with many other technology providers with minimal efforts. These integration partners include Thomson Nexguard, Avid, Smartjog, Anystream and Apple Final Cut Pro.
