APT supply WorldNet Milano transponders to US

Belfast-based Audio Processing Technology (APT) have sold three WorldNet Milano ISDN transponders to Circa Music, an audio post-production studio based in Dublin, Ohio.
Circa Music chose the APT Milano units for newly opened facilities in New York and Los Angeles. Located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and in the studio district of Burbank, the two new facilities have been specifically designed for recording voice-over talent via ISDN.
Circa have also used the new Milano to upgrade their Columbus production facility, which previously housed an APT Pro-link.
The purchase allows clients of Circa Music to conduct coast-to-coast voice-over sessions in pristine 24-bit digital audio. It also allows producers to tap into talent pools in the two cities from any location without compromising audio quality or paying for expensive studio time.
Allen DiCenzo, Producer and CEO of Circa Music, said: “The Milano is simply the best unit available. It’s less expensive than previous models, it takes up less space, and it sounds incredible. We’re linking with New York and LA, and our voice-overs sound as though they were done right here in the booth.”
WorldNet Milano is a full duplex, multi-channel audio codec, offering both fixed line and ISDN connection and incorporating both Standard and Enhanced apt-X. WorldNet Milano has been designed to deliver high-quality audio for post-production facilities, studio to transmitter, studio-to-studio links and outside broadcast applications.
