TSL Boosts Range For Expo

An international, independent, broadcast systems integrator, TSL, has announced additions to its range of audio monitoring and power mains distribution units for display at the Broadcast Video Expo 2009.
The PAM1-3G8 is the latest addition to TSL's acclaimed Audio Monitoring Range and is the world's most comprehensive and compact Dolby D&E audio monitoring device.
Moreover, the PAM1-3G8 is the first 1U rack - mounted audio monitoring unit to feature the resolution, visibility and energy-efficiency of OLED displays for data and metering - marking the first time that an OLED has been designed for use in the audio monitoring market.
The PAM1-3G8 includes dual 3Ghz HD/SDI video inputs, 4 x AES, Dolby D/E decoding plus a range of advanced features including loudness monitoring and a high-quality, full-range internal loudspeaker system.
This makes it one of the most compact, sophisticated, comprehensive and intuitive rack-mounted audio monitoring products the market today.
TSL's Power Manager Mains Distribution Units (MDU Series) will be represented by the new MDU12-PMi. This offers highly-sophisticated power management with the total flexibility required by broadcast operations. The MDU12-PMi provides remote Ethernet control and monitoring of 12 individually switched IEC outputs via secure web browser with SNMP, plus email alarms for fuse fail, power fail, over/under current alarm and power measurement, plus 16 GPI inputs.
It's sophisticated "Current Sensing" feature monitors the total or individual outlets power consumption and operating temperatures of all rack-mounted equipment; providing clear alarms if variables rise above or fall below fully programmable limits as well as indicating potential fault conditions. The MDU12PMi, with its remotely switchable outputs, will play a central role in the conservation of energy in major new broadcast installations.
TSL's range of TallyMan UMD products enjoy a majority market share and are used worldwide by most leading broadcasters.
Benefits of the TSL TallyMan System include Serial, TCP/IP and Parallel connectivity in one box.
Finally, TSL's AVMU2-3G is a premium 3G Audio and Video monitoring unit with integral loudspeakers and a 4.5", 16:9 high resolution LCD TFT display, combined with four 53-segment bar graphs for simultaneous monitoring of four audio channels and comprehensive loudspeaker monitoring.
