Emerging Take On Digital Audio Denmark For The UK

In the second of a series of deals designed to expand their business, London-based professional audio sales and support company eMerging, best known as the UK office of Pyramix DAW manufacturers Merging Technologies, have signed a distribution agreement for the UK and Ireland with respected analogue-to-digital converter manufacturer Digital Audio Denmark (DAD).
DAD manufacture the high-quality AX24 modular A-D/D-A converter, which is expandable from two to eight channels of I/O and can handle sample rates up to 384kHz (the demanding DXD/DSD standard) if required. The Danish manufacturer also makes the Sphynx 2 converter for Merging Technologies, which is how they came into contact with eMerging in the UK.
Paul Mortimer, from eMerging, explained: "We have been providing converter solutions to our customers for a long time. The relationship with DAD is very exciting for us, as their converters have a fantastic reputation for unrivaled reproduction quality, a view reflected by many highly respected 'golden-eared' industry figures across the world."
Mikael Vest, CEO and Co-Founder of Digital Audio Denmark, said: "We're delighted to be working with eMerging in the UK. The UK remains one of the liveliest markets worldwide for high-quality pro audio equipment and to grow our sales there, we really need an experienced distributor based in London."
Paul Mortimer concluded: "The AX24 has never really been sold in a consistent way in the UK before and we look forward to changing that situation for the better, These are seriously good A-Ds - UK ears need to hear them."
